After its hugely successful presentation at the Festa del Cinema in Rome, critical acclaim in North and South America and in other English-speaking countries, and screenings in Austria and Germany as well as at several international film festivals, the documentary film “ZUCCHERO – Sugar Fornaciari”, directed by Valentina Zanella and Giangiacomo De Stefano, will also be available on Amazon Prime from February 1st !
“ZUCCHERO – Sugar Fornaciari” is an extraordinary story told through his own words as well as those of colleagues and friends such as Bono, Sting, Brian May, Paul Young, Andrea Bocelli, Salmo, Francesco Guccini, Francesco De Gregori, Roberto Baggio, Jack Savoretti, Don Was, Randy Jackson and Corrado Rustici. A journey through the soul which, thanks to footage from Zucchero’s private archives and his “World Wild Tour”, goes beyond a mere portrayal of a successful musician to explore the doubts and fragilities of the man himself.
The documentary film is produced by K+ in collaboration with Adler Entertainment and Ela Film, and distributed by Adler Entertainment, in collaboration with Zucchero & Fornaciari Music S.r.l. and Regione Emilia-Romagna through the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission.
