Sting has also been announced among the friends taking part to the special night in New York on April 23rd at the Madision Square Garden Theatre.
On that night, 10 years after the famous concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London, Zu&Co. will reach the United States, since many Zucchero’s friends will take part to this special event: Sting, Sam Moore, Chris Botti, Fher Olver from Manà, Dolores O’Riodan from Cranberries, plus some other Italian special guests: Jovanotti, Elisa, Fiorella Mannoia and many others still to be announced.
Zucchero will be on stage with: Polo Jones (bass), Kat Dyson (guitars and chorus), Adriano Molinari (drums), Nicola Peruch (keyboards), Horacio Hernandez El Negro (drums), Joaquin Nunez Hidalgo (percussions), Elmer Ferrer (guitars), Monica Messinger (violin), the Harlem Gospel Choir & the Sam Moore’s horn section.
Started last Thursday from Toronto, Canada, Zucchero’s Americana Tour 2014 continues: after 12 Canadian gigs, there will be a coast-to-coast in the Usa, for a total of more than 40 concerts, with many kilometers on the sleeping bus, like the country singers still use to do. Many notes on the notebook (and on Zu’s website) and inspirations for the next studio album.
